Two questions for anyone who knows. Is this game still in the early access period? in that case when will the full version release? Is it possible to drive a full season offline or is it just single race weekend?

I really regret buying F123 now I'm done with this brand, but the only reason you'd buy it is because the weekly online organized races and challenges and those drop off in the old title when the new one comes out. But a lot of people will play this for "free" with xbox game pass.

hi im glad i came across this video before picking assetto corsa up, i had a few doubts, do i really need to buy the ultimate edition if all i wanna do is just get some visual mods into the game, make it look pretty and drive alone on like those open world maps that ive seen videos about, im not really into racing all that much and i just wanted a game to replace gta 5 as my go to driving for peace game

The biggest issue with the old AC is the dated sound engine. Its fine when you're driving at speed but when accelerating from a stand still it's just sounds horrible..

Just bought it via the Steam sale... Gotta say, I'm pretty terrible at it but I partly blame the game pad. I wonder if wheel manufacturers paid Steam to put AC on sale 🤣

I bought AC so many years ago and it was on sale then. I would pay upwards of $100 for a sequel with internal multiplayer and new graphics/ffb. Purely out of respect for what they've given us with OG AC and ACC.

and things i start to afraid is like nowadays game developer that craving for income and selling so many dlc :( and assetto will be like that? instead allowing mod, but we have to buy that so many dlc :(

I hope for economy in this one and ability to have some type of career but in sandbox way. I am sick of games that force me to be a driver for some racing team. Many people want game for PC that would be something like console GT game. Buy, earn, sell, buy parts, upgrade, visual mod, paint (customized liveries etc.), tune etc. etc. With hardcore mode where true hardcore drivers would win or lose without damn replay race buttons and damn casual handicaps. Economy that is not super easy but demanding where we will need to use money for repairs/part replacement etc. All on top of the realistic car handling and hardcore damage (not necessary visual one but harsh technical damage) I would really love to finally have such game instead of yet another plain race to race on top of another race game without any deepth and gathering of car, cash, garages etc.

Focus on console release day 1 - lots of customers there. Add on psVR2💥 Worry about the pc community later 😜

At the moment for throttles the vkb stecs is by far the best value.... I am not sure how moza will compete with that. Warthog has not been relevant for a bit now. There have been better options for a few years.

For me, I don't use AC as a sim at all. I spend the vast majority of my time in that game playing mods that are not realistic at all, like super tuned JDM cars that go 400 km/h and have infinite grip, dodging traffic in Shutoko servers. And that's my fun from AC. I don't wanna play a racing sim, I couldn't care less about motorsports and circuit racing, so unless AC Evo somehow manages to have compatibility with AC mods or it's easy enough for modders to port their content to Evo, I don't really have any interest in it. It could be the most realistic racing sim in the world and probably appeal to the simracing crowd, but the original has already transcended simracing and can be as realisitic or as ridiculous and over the top as you want it to be.

Is the time the FFB effect works limited? The Brunner FFB can only do 30 seconds, the rhino can do unlimited.

Kunos will not have any problem with AC1 because everybody will buy AC2 and its dlc's too :)

In my opinion ACC turned out to be pretty good game, with that graphics engine they chose (it looks great, to be honest, and optimized more than LMU, for example). BTW: Codemasters (EA) did similar move with their WRC, but they explained that with requirement to handle long stages. Both studios had issues with Unreal engine, but Kunos was not bad in resolving them.

There is no need to overcomplicate by pointing on sales.. I haven't had issues with 'torrent edition' that had annoying starforce removed. Steam doesn't even exist on my pc though I read community guides time by time.
